I love learning and trying new things, so this is a place for nothing particular whatsoever. It's just about developing a project, start to finish that says or does something for me.
Senior Trip Stickers
My kiddo was planning a backpacking trip with his friends after he graduated and after taking a class from Aaron Draplin on Skillshare I developed these stickers for him to trade with his friends for the travel journal they were taking, and to add to packages coming to us from the trip as a fun little extra.
"Feed Those You Love"
This was done again, on Skillshare. Seriously who can resist that bearded guru Draplin? It was done with my grandmother in mind who taught me the love of cooking and fishing. They were great loves in her life and have become so in mine. The color palette is also hers as she loved the blues of the 50's and the burnt red is the color of her camper that we spent summers in fishing at Rainbow Falls outside of Woodland Park, Colorado. The ball jar is representative many hours sitting at the kitchen table popping beans or peeling apples to put up stores for the winter as a kid. Treasured memories and skills.
